You won't believe me.

But i decided to tell you anyway. The tarot card readers kept saying 2 numbers over and over. 8 and 10. Heavy on the 8s and "but 8 is also the infinity symbol." His birthday is 8/10/88. When he told me I was like, "Of course it is." ha. He was supposed to be an earth sign. He is an Earth DRAGON, and a fire sign. I am a Fire Dragon Earth sign. We are so much alike it's scary. We know all the same movies and music. So funny. I used to say there were 3 things I needed to like about a man: his voice, his smell, his hands. 3 for 3. I especially love his laugh. I love that he laughs at all the dumb stuff I do.

I have my small ripple effect. I have thank you cards taped on my fridge, from nursing students, I remember Colton just shaking his head and saying, "You have taught me SO MUCH." But it wasn't just "nursing skills." It was how to deal with unwanted attention when you have a big personality, because I HAVE LEARNED THE HARD WAY. Ripple effect. I have FAITH in the younger generations to SAVE US, to FIX THINGS. And i ENCOURAGE them, tell them they can do it. I am in the middle generation. Nothing gets fixed for MY generation, but it gets fixed BY my generation. I refuse for future generations to have to go through what WE went through. And that INCLUDES, in NURSING.

Alchemize, transmute.

Cut ties with negative people who wish me ill. Maybe i just haven't done scream therapy in too long of a time. i watch these tarot card readers, you do too. I feel energies. and I am working hard on protecting my energy, but God, I just get exhausted. it's just a constant war, a constant battle, against this negativity that I do not want to feel. Scream therapy was effective. I used to do it in my car on the thruway in New York. (It's called a "freeway" where it's free, in New York, you had to pay tolls, so it was the "thruway.") I would Scream, and then cough. My throat Chakra has never been clear. My birth cries were not welcomed. Everyone was PISSED at my birth. The doctor was so mad that my mom refused to have a "saddle block," that he lost his shit, which caused my dad to lose his shit, and per legend, the doctor made the nurses get up on my mom's pregnant belly and violently push me out. Things i think about a lot. *When i was a kid, there was a neighbor named Toby Tompkins, who was developmentally delayed and attended "special ed." My mom was friends with her mom. And for several years, on her birthday, in November, my younger siblings and Torie and I would throw her a surprise birthday party in her basement. *When i was at "girls camp," a church summer camp, one year i was playing hide and seek and i barged into this tent and wound up lying next to this girl who was depressed, distraught, and crying. I forgot all about the "game" I was playing, and I laid there with her and comforted her, for a very long time. *One time on a field trip to the state Capitol in Sacramento, I saw a homeless man pushing a cart full of soda cans. I happened to have a soda can, so i ran up to him and said, "Here, you can have my soda can." (i remember because the teacher was very upset. ha). *I have a lot of memories like this.
